The statue quiz answers ...

I only got one entry this week for the quiz. Must have been too tricky ??

Here are the answers anyway ...

1. Sir Walter Scott (on top of the column in middle of George Square)
2. Queen Victoria
3. David Livingstone (in front of the cathedral)
4. James Watt (similar pose to the one in the Hunterian)
5. Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington and the horse is Copenhagen
6. Robert Burns
To a gull : "Oh master o' the seabird breed, gonnae stop crappin on ma heid" :)
7. Prince Albert (Queen Victoria's husband. The horse statues are a set in the square)
8. Sir John Moore (as mentioned in a previous post)

The winners are the Watson clan again. This time a combined answers from Mr and Mrs Watson.
They scored 5 out of 8. Which is pretty good cause it was quite difficult.
