Cone watch - it's gone again!!! But ...

I have to apologise to the followers of Glasgow "The Day" for not checking Wellington's Statue yesterday. Got carried away with the whole cinema thing. Sorry. However did go back today and the cone is gone!!!

And what with Sammy the Seagull in retirement down at Ayr was Glasgow to be left with a "naked" Wellington??

Nope ...


The ever inventive Glaswegians have managed to train a pigeon to sit on Wellington's head until they get the chance to replace the cone. Genius!!
