Red sky at night... Spanish delight!!

This time of year you can get the most amazing sunsets over Glasgow.
You see people complain about the clouds but without them these stunning colours would never happen. The other advantage to being this far north is that is stays light so late in the summer. Bad for getting the kids to sleep and also means dark in the winter... but with a display like this that wasn't worrying me tonight.

This photo was taken out of my front window as the World Cup final in South Africa drew to a close. A tussle between Orange and Red for supremacy.
And as if to mirror that other tussle in the other hemisphere the red won out in the end. :-)
Congratulations to Spain on their deserved victory!!
And bit sorry for Holland who have always been a bit of a favourite of mine. Maybe something to do with that Archie Gemmell goal again though?? :-) Holland becoming a bit of a bridesmaid team with that being their 3rd final but fingers crossed they will win it one day.
As a Scot I can only imagine the delight of winning the World Cup. Actually getting out of the habit of even qualifying!! But if we did win I reckon Glasgow and the rest of Scotland would simply close down for a year at least.
But enough day dreaming...
But for now will have to content myself with the simple pleasures of a beautiful late night Glasgow sunset. And that not so bad.
Be well, be happy!!
